麻雀飞到林间觅食，从广阔的天空中
它将一颗惊慌的心带到树下
短短的脖子，深藏在灰色的羽毛里

觅食时，它似乎小心地阅读一封信
一啄，一啄，它在寻思
每一阵脚步声，都会将它的心变成战鼓

梧桐在远处保持着克制
柳树正努力降伏扬起的枝条
小小的白蝴蝶，围绕野花轻轻鼓掌

为了一只正在读信的麻雀
我也愿意留在原地
为不断的风声保持一点儿矜持

Keep the Distance

The sparrow flies to the woods for food,from the vast sky
He brings a panic-stricken heart to the ground under the trees
With his short neck, hiding deep into his own gray feathers

Looking for food, as if reading a letter carefully
Peck by peck, he’s thinking
Every burst of footsteps, would make his heart a war drum surely

The phoenix trees from the distance restrain themselves
The willows make efforts to tame the long raising twigs
A few white little butterflies, clap so gently as fluttering round the wildflowers

Just for a sparrow who is reading a letter
I’m also willing to stay here where I’m now
And keep restrained and silent for the unceasing sound of winds
