采莲：采莲花，还是采莲子？ 如是后者，collect lotus seeds怎样？
鱼：the，要还是不要呢？
in the east / west / south / north of： in的用法似有不妥~

要译出原汁原味的确不易~~~

我也纠结过究竟是采莲花还是采莲子。从“莲叶何田田”以及游鱼的场面，我判断是夏天，应当是采莲花。fish前只用了一处“the”，主要考虑简洁的需要，适度违反语法也是可行的。

in 用在此处的方位上是适当的，表示在东（西、南、北）部，在参照物的“里面”。类似的有in the front  of
辛苦了！
