The inauguration ceremonyof Philippine Branch of Poets International Pen Club(PIPC) was recently held in Manila, the capital of the Philippines. More than 200 people including poets writing in Filipino, English, and Chinese, scholars, and cultural representatives across the country, gathered at the auditorium of the Philippine Cultural College to mark this significant literary milestone.

国际诗人笔会菲律宾分会成立仪式，近日在菲律宾首都马尼拉举行。成立仪式上，来自菲律宾各地的菲律宾语、英语和华语诗人，以及学者与文化界代表共近200人，齐聚菲律宾侨中学院大礼堂，共同见证这一隆重的诗意时刻。

The event featured video greetings from David Musgrave, PIPC President and professor at the University of Newcastle, Australia, and Huang Yazhou, PIPC Vice President and former Vice Chairman of the Sixth Session of the Chinese Writers Association. Michael Coroza, Chairman of the Philippine Writers Alliance (UMPIL), attended and delivered a congratulatory speech. Entrusted by PIPC, Yu Jian, Vice President of PIPC China Branch, formally presented the organization's flag to the Philippine Branch, and President Michael Angelo Chua, Vice Presidents Jose Laderas Santos and Tomas F. Agulto accepted it alongside all members in a solemn ceremony. Several Filipino poets then traced the evolution of Philippine poetry from its traditional roots to contemporary expression, emphasizing poetry's role as a bridge across languages and cultures in our globalized world.

仪式上播放了国际诗人笔会主席、澳大利亚纽卡斯尔大学教授大卫·慕斯格雷夫，国际诗人笔会副主席、中国作家协会第六届副主席黄亚洲发来的祝贺视频。菲律宾作家联盟主席迈克尔·科罗萨到场祝贺并致辞。受国际诗人笔会委托，国际诗人笔会中国分会副会长于坚为菲律宾分会授旗，菲律宾分会会长蔡思汗、副会长何塞·拉德雷斯·桑托斯、托马斯·F·阿古尔托率全体会员上台受旗，场面庄重热烈。多位菲律宾诗人先后发言，回顾菲律宾诗歌从民族传统走向现代书写的发展脉络，并强调在全球化语境下，诗歌应成为跨越语言与族群的桥梁。

The inauguration concluded with "Spiritual Realm of the Thousand Islands," a modern poetry reading. Poets writing in Filipino, English, and Chinese shared their original works. The interweaving voices with imaginary brought the event to a climax with the flow of poetry.

成立仪式最后，举行了“意·境千岛”现代诗朗诵会，来自菲律宾全国各地的菲语、英语、华语诗人同台朗读原创作品，声像交汇，诗意流动，将活动推向高潮。
